AFTER CARE |
Here’s your aftercare guide following your laser hair removal:
• Mild redness, warmth, swelling, or sensitivity around the hair follicles is completely normal after treatment.
• Apply a cool compress if needed to soothe the treated area.
• Keep the area clean and avoid harsh scrubs, exfoliants, or active skincare products for 24-48 hours.
• Avoid hot tubs, pools, saunas, steam rooms, and excessive sweating for the first 24 hours.
• Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning while your skin heals.
• Wear SPF 30+ daily on any treated areas exposed to the sun.
• Do not wax, tweeze, or thread between appointments, as the laser targets the hair follicle.
• Shaving is perfectly fine between treatments if needed.
• Hair may appear to "grow" for 1-3 weeks after treatment. This is normal shedding as treated follicles release the hair.
• Keep the skin moisturized with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer if dryness occurs.
• Avoid retinol, tretinoin, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other potentially irritating skincare products on the treated area for several days unless otherwise directed.
• Drink plenty of water and follow your recommended treatment schedule for the best results.
